Good news hope we will see the A350 back soon
Doha is a far better transit point than Dubai in my opinion

Buy the way how do you do a like on this site.

We actually had a QR 351 in from LAX yesterday on route to DOH with a medical emergency
At the same time Virgin had a 351 on the ground

Qr has been having tech issues with the 787 this week they had to put on 773 replacements
one 787 went back to DOH empty

QR have applied for another set of slots at EDI. It would appear they have plans to go 3 x daily. Very impressive if they do.

Looking at their figures for this year it would mostly do well say an evening flight.
Hopes EK stays away.

Qatar operated A359 today it looks like it is going to be daily from now on
Sorry about the quality, I was to late at catching the photo
It was 5 miles away in the winter sun.

The flights aren't cheap either, so they'll be doing very well on the route.

QR in November handle more passengers than EK at GLA
Making DOH more popular than DXB

 :o

That's quite a shock, however I guess it's part of the wider shift to the eastern side of the country.

IMHO Doha is a better airport than DXB for transfer
Also with the new A359 2 flights per day possibility of going up to 3 soon
They also give you free hotels overnight accommodation if you transfer is over a certain time
Having used both airlines I prefer Qr.but then I don't like the 380
I prefer the 787 or 359

Yet again QR overtook EK in December at this rate we may see a third flight from QR
In the summer. 3 X A359 or 2 X A351 would be nice, as long as there are not tempted to use that ugly looking 380.
