Title: 787
Post by: viscount on Jul 06, 2023, 08:12 PM
EDI now handling quite a few 787s
Tui. QR. AC. West Jest  and possibly EK next year

Having flown on QR I do like this aircraft this and the 350 in my opinion is the future of aviation lonhaul.

We truly are in the age of:

737-X / 787
A32X - A350

Consolidation of type will get more intense for airlines as they can save even more on standardisation.

Add to the mix United and Delta who are operating old and increasingly unreliable 757 and 767's. They will have to make decision in next year or so what equipment type will replace them on EDI routes.

It still amuses me there is no true 757 replacement, especially from Boeing.

The A321 sort of gets there but not quite.

Yes Boeing missed their chance.
United still using them but having major tech failures.
Once the 321 XLR starts coming on board I bet you we will see LAX starting up.
